Dinner by Design

The Social Concierge’s annual Dinner By Design brings together internationally celebrated designers and local talent to create three-dimensional dining installations. We were delighted to be invited to participate.

Our theme was ‘Vancouverism’ or LOCAL YVR, celebrating our local artisans, makers, and designers. Our goal was to highlight Vancouver’s commitment to being the World’s Greenest City and sustainability in action at the local level through our beautiful regional artisanry, art, and design. 

The combined influences of a profoundly beautiful first nations art, a spectacular natural environment, and the rich multicultural matrix of the Pacific Rim make Vancouverism a powerful engine of design. Our display integrated this magical matrix into a stunning showcase that honours our unique place in the world of design.
