St. Paul’s Church
The labyrinth is a spiritual form that is open to people of all faiths and spiritual disciplines as a resource for meditation, reflection, and prayer. People come to walk its winding path for countless reasons. For many, it is a way of centering themselves or of seeking insight during times of transition in their lives. For others, it is a channel for relating to the Divine. Given the popularity of St. Paul’s Labyrinth we were asked to redo the labyrinth entrance lobby and come up with new signage. In addition, the labyrinth committee wanted to improve upon their written instructions display. We composed wall panel which described how to use the labyrinth, history of labyrinth geometry as well as a bit of history of Chartes Cathedral in France, the inspiration for the St. Paul’s Labyrinth, in a graphic and attractive way.
